I started Jury Duty today. The old lady next to me kept burping. I giggled once or twice. But really, what the hell?
Wrestling season is over. We didn't end on a very good note. My afternoons are free though.
I have to post this on my journal to avoid all hell breaking loose. I don't aim this at anyone in particular, but it's been on my mind: A lot of "UT basketball fans" have come out of nowhere, just in time for the winning. I understand it's tough to cheer for a losing team, but now, all of the sudden, they all know EVERYTHING about basketball. It's irritating to someone who's liked and followed college basketball for a long time.
I promise, if you think I'm talking to or about you, you're wrong. The main people I'm referring to don't have Livejournal.
This Saturday is setting up to be HUGE. Unless you've been, or are going to be, in a cave under a rock, you're excited about the Memphis/Tennessee game. #1 vs #2. Already bitter rivals. Tournament seeding could be affected.
I understand there is a really good possibility that UT will beat Memphis. I understand that the SEC is a tougher conference, therefore Tennessee plays a tougher schedule. I understand that the Tigers have their flaws on the court, and Lord knows off. What I don't understand is how anyone can argue that they shouldn't be the number one team in the country. They have to be. Don't they? 25-0. Say what you want about their overall schedule; they play who they can, and win. They score points and play good defense.
If they lose, I will admit I'm wrong. And if it's convincing, I'll admit Tennessee could be or is a better team. However, I don't feel like the other side would do the same... |
i think it will be an awesome game though, and i hope there isnt any bullshit that gives either team an "excuse" for losing.
that being said though, GO VOLS
